| BREAKING NEWS One of Australia’s favourite female artists, Madeleine Ekeblad from Brisbane, is thrilled to announce that her TV Art Documentary produced by Graeme Stevenson’s program ‘Colour in Your Life’ will be heading to the Moon in the ‘Polaris Collection’ on Elon Musk & NASA’s SpaceX mission in 2023. The Lunar Codex speaks the idea that despite wars, pandemics & climate upheaval, humankind found time to dream and to create art. Significantly, it is the first project to launch the works of Women Artists to the lunar surface. Madeleine is very proud to be selected to represent Australia in this iconic step. She is a familiar face in Brisbane and in the Hong Kong Art Scenes with Private Collectors all over the world including Vienna, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and Penang where she currently lives. The First commercial flight of the Space X Rocket Vulcan, the Astrobotic Griffin Lunar Lander, will carry a diverse suite of scientific instruments, technologies and mementos from six different countries along with dozens of scientists and hundreds of individuals. The mission will be rocketed from Cape Canaveral, with a destination to land on the moon in an area of the Lunar South Pole in 2023. |
