Madeleine, b 1958, “Maddi Paints Music”,  Painter, Author, Film Maker has relocated from Brisbane, Australia and has re-established her Art Studio on Penang Island in Malaysia.  She still maintains a Studio on Tamborine Mountain in Australia and is represented by Red Hill Gallery, Brisbane. Her art is also on display in Tanjung Bungah at the Hillside Restaurant/Gallery where she is the artist in residence.

Hong Kong has embraced her  Black, Red and White paintings of Cellos, Pianos & Violins, along with her signature paintings of “Lady in Red”, and now she is able to easily travel to Hong Kong with the 3 hour direct flight from Penang.  Life as an Artist, means travelling the world, introducing her art to the public.  Over the last 7 years Maddi has had 12 successful shows in Hong Kong with Asia Contemporary Art and recently with Affordable Art Fair Hong Kong & Singapore with AAD Gallery, based in Sydney, Australia. Exhibitions also in Los Angeles, Guangzhou & Shenzhen.

She has recently Directed her first film at locations around Hong Kong with 72 Dragons Productions. ‘THE DYING PIANO‘, of which the trailer was released to the public in May 2019.

Maddi has also published her latest book “A Reluctant Artist in the 21st Century” in June 2019.
